Utilising the best in materials, knowledge and processes our major correction is the top quality of our detailing service range and leaves your car looking as good as those new cars under the dealership showroom lights, if not better!

Using multiple machine processing stages to safely remove the heaviest of defects found on most vehicles (e.g. deep scratches, bird etchings, buffer trails & sanding marks/ overspray) a major paint correction is perfect for any car that needs that second lease of life.

It has to be made clear that 100% correction isn't always achievable, with compromises having to be made depending on the severity of scratches and thickness of the clear coat on the vehicle. In addition scratches which you can 'feel with your fingernail' are usually too deep to correct without paint, but they can be visually reduced. Please bring this to our attention upon viewing the vehicle and we will be able to advise appropriately.

Thus, with a Major Paint Correction we aim to achieve 95% correction which is guaranteed to transform the look of your vehicle!

Because we are perfectionists at Showroom Detailing and believe in providing the best quality work for our clients, this is the only type of paint correction process which has the option to have a ceramic coating application, for which you can choose the one you prefer from a range of brands which have been tried and tested by our master detailer, to ensure they are perfect in every way!

Exterior

• Wheel arches flushed and door shuts cleaned
• Alloys treated and cleaned including behind spokes and inner-rim
• Citrus pre-wash treatment including bug and insect removal
• Extensive bodywork wash process using the two bucket method with pH neutral shampoos
• Tar deposits chemically treated
• Iron/metallic contamination chemically treated
• Remaining contamination removed by clay bar
• Vehicle rinsed and dried using ultra soft microfibre drying towels including door shuts
• Vehicle blown dry using heated filtered air to remove any trapped water and eliminate water drips
• Delicate areas, plastic trims, badges and decals taped-up or removed to aid machine polishing
• 3-4 stage machine correction to remove paint defects (95% correction)
• Vehicle re-washed to remove dust created from machine polishing stages
• Final high gloss polish to refine paint to a mirror-like, high gloss finish
• Paintwork wiped down with Isopropyl Alcohol to remove residues and oils in preparation for ceramic coating
• Protective wax applied to bodywork (multiple layers available at additional cost)
• Exterior plastics protected with Gtechniq C4
• Exterior glass cleaner used to remove smears or water marks
• Glass Sealant applied to all exterior glass
